I love Thanksgiving Dinner. It is so much fun to come up with the perfect thanksgiving menu for your Thanksgiving table. This year I thought I would take a look at some best thanksgiving side dishes I could find on Pinterest for the holiday table.
1-Slow Cooker Maple and Brown Sugar Glazed Carrots I think this glazed carrot recipe would be great for Thanksgiving dinner. With maple syrup and brown sugar, how can you go wrong? The added plus is that you can easily make it in a crock pot…happy day!
2-Southern Sweet Potato Casserole I love a good sweet potato casserole, and this one sounds like a good bet.
3-The Best Brussel Sprouts of Your Life It has taken me a while to get on the bandwagon, but I really do enjoy a good brussel sprout side dish. This one sounds pretty easy.
4-Make Ahead Mashed Potatoes This one I have made before, and it is very good, always a hit. On Thanksgiving, I serve it with gravy.
5-Ultimate Green Bean Casserole People seem to love the classic green bean casserole. My mom never made it, but I think I could get used to having this with my Thanksgiving meal.
6-Fluffy Homemade Biscuits-I would love a buttery biscuit with my thanksgiving meal. I may give this one a try.
7-Homemade Bread Stuffing-My mom made bread stuffing every Thanksgiving. There was never a recipe. She just knew what to do, and it was always good. I read over this recipe, and it sounded close to the one mom used to make.
8-Corn Pudding Casserole I have had corn pudding a few times, and I love the sweet ones that taste like dessert. I have never found a recipe that comes close to the ones I have enjoyed. I am hoping this one lives up to what I remember. It has sugar in it, which makes me I am hopeful:-)
Best of Luck in planning your holiday dinner. I hope these recipes help you find the perfect side dish for your special day!
Happy cooking and baking!
