North Carolina has a lot to offer. Two of my favorite places to visit are the mountains and the coast. If I had to choose, it would always be the mountains.
I went with my daughter and her family to an area near Asheville, NC. We stayed in a house just outside of Black Mountain. The day we were to return home, we decided we wanted to take a hike. The big question was what hike we could take that is stroller friendly. After all, we had two little ones under 2 and a very large double stroller.
As we searched online, we found a suggestion…Tom’s Creek Falls in Marion, NC…1250 Huskins Branch Rd, Marion, NC 28752.
I had trouble finding a distance on this trail. Nearly every site varied, but it is approximately a 0.8-mile round trip. Luckily for us, it was a short, easy trail that was stroller friendly. You can make it to the falls overlook by stroller. If you want to get to the base of the falls, you can, but not with a stroller.

What an excellent hike for a young family!
So if you are in the Marion area and looking for a hike that allows for strollers, this one is perfect. The falls are lovely, and it is a short easy hike. It is a beautiful hike that I really enjoyed!
Happy Travels and Hiking, Everyone!
