“A Celebration of all things Goat! Our farm is family-friendly, with fun for everyone. Watch as baby goats prance, hop and gallop around the farm… watch out, they may even steal your heart! Goats are full of love and curiosity – they’re waiting for you to show up so they can get snuggled and loved on!”
There were so many free-range critters. We met several friendly goats walking around the grounds. There were also turkeys, guineas, chickens, a couple of dogs, and we saw one cat. Also, you will find in fenced areas horses, a pig, a duck, and two Highland Cows. We also met an adorable donkey.
Let’s meet the goats…
Jane meeting a new friend…
Jane was not too trusting of the horse…
I looked for someone to kiss, but there was no one there:-)
Jane and I were tempted to jump on the tractor.
They were taking people on this little tractor pull ride. It looked like fun.
I agree with this poster I found on the property…
We had a fun time at Spring Haven Farm. The animals were friendly and the people welcoming. There is a small shop on site that I did not have a chance to explore. That day we did see tiny white baby goats, adorable!
Jane is just over a year old. She has seen farm animals in books and on videos but has not experienced any in person. The entire time we were surrounded by these adorable animals, Jane seemed a bit overwhelmed and made interesting babbling sounds. In meeting all the animal’s Jane came away with the ability to say Quack. I think the duck impressed her.
If you go, I suggest you wear bug spray. Take a picnic lunch. There are picnic tables on-site. They have tickets for events that you can purchase online. Here is the link to their site for further information
