I am late to the party, but I just started watching This is Us on Hulu. What an amazing show about families, their ups and downs, and their highs and lows. This show reinforces that, yes, life has its challenges and its joys. In times when life is difficult and leaves a very “sour” taste in our mouths, we can do our darndest to make “something resembling lemonade.” In other words, even in the face of divorce or other painful events, and all of its pain, we can find hope and joy if we try hard enough. Believe me, I know this is hard to do, but it is possible.
