Stress can show up in many forms, but no matter what you’re facing, it’s reassuring to know there are ways to ease that tension or at least take a break from its physical and emotional toll.

One great way to relieve stress is through laughter. You’ve probably heard the saying, “laughter is the best medicine,” and in this case, it’s absolutely true. A good laugh can ease tension and lift your spirits.

There’s nothing quite like a good laugh—it lifts our spirits and brings genuine happiness. Beyond just feeling good, laughter offers real, proven health benefits. Here are a few reasons why laughing more can boost your well-being…

Over time laughing can improve your immune system, help reduce pain, increase personal satisfaction, and improve your mood.

According to Very Well Mind, laughter can reduce our stress hormones, provide a physical and emotional release, and give us an internal workout. They go on to say it can be a distraction from our problems, change our perspective, and even elevate our mood.
