Let’s Go On An Adventure!
Eno River Farm In Hillsborough, NC
It is always a great day when I can go on an adventure with family or friends. On this particular day, my daughter Erica and her two little ones, Jane and Riely, were my adventure partners in crime.
We decided Eno River Farm was a great place to visit. There is something for everyone there, from coffee to ice cream, plants and flowers to outdoor activities.
The first thing on Jane and Riley’s minds was ice cream. Eno River Farm makes its ice cream with the berries it picks on the farm. Riley let me have a taste of hers, and it was delicious.
The kiddos love running around and visiting the, I guess, the proper name is sculptures, located on the grounds. I would love to know the story behind them.
They have beautiful plants and flowers as well as fun items for sale. Strawberries will soon be available, either pre-picked or picked yourself. I plan on going back to plant some berries.
Eno River Farm has a beautiful farm shop; if you get the chance, you should check it out. If you go, you must try the ice cream, it is to die for.
