This quote by Ava Du Vernay is accurate on many levels.  To succeed in this life and be happy, we can’t continue to make the same mistakes or knock on the same door.  We can’t continue to knock on the door of someone who damaged us and expect the situation to be different.  We can’t continue to knock on the door of what we know we should not be and expect different results.  We have to choose a new positive path.   This takes commitment, courage, and determination, but we can do it.
